While visiting Japan travelers can expect to buy snacks at local convenience stores that are supplied three times per day with healthy salads, rice balls, desserts, coffee, teas, and more for less than $10 USD!
Japan is fairly inexpensive for meals and averages $8-12 USD for a typical meal at a restaurant - such as fried chicken, a side salad, a bowl of rice, and miso soup. For a high-end meal, travelers can expect to pay $25-40 USD per person. There's no need to worry about ordering since most menus include photos, have semi-realistic food models, or are digitally translated. Your guide can help order and read menus for your convenience.

Our trips pride themselves on being catered to allow a balance of group sightseeing with personal time to explore and wander Japan on your own. In specific cities, travelers will receive a transportation pass that provides access to over 50 museums. If any of these spark your interest, you are welcome to explore them on the free days by requesting the guide to help transport you there. Any reservations outside of the transportation pass, such as Tokyo DisneySea, TeamLabs, and the Ghibli Museum are also available but are individual-ticket dependent. The guide cannot directly book these and travelers will need to purchase entry themselves. No matter how or where you choose to use your free days, the guide promises to get travelers safely to their reservations and to assist in breaking the language barrier.
