I had the amazing opportunity to be able to tour Japan with the Momiji Travel Agency this past summer of 2023. From start to finish, there was never a dull moment. With a perfect balance between activity and relaxation, even in a group setting, the tours were designed to cater to each individual.
The tour guides were outstanding as well. Not only were they super friendly and came to feel like family even in such a short time, but they were also very knowledgeable about all aspects of Japanese culture, life, history, and the language. Far from feeling like any old tour, I was able to actually immerse myself in the culture and experience some of what it might have been like to be a local.
Thanks to the Momiji Travel Agency, I was able to learn about the history of Japan, participate in the culture, and I even picked up a few words of Japanese. From eating mouth-watering Sukiyaki in Takayama and taking a gondola ride through the air in Hakone, to exploring the night markets in Osaka and stepping back in time to see the Shirakawa-Go UNESCO Heritage Site, I had an unforgettable experience.

My trip with Momiji Travel Agency was nothing short of amazing! Our tour guides were super kind and provided us with exceptional information about every location we went to in Japan. One of my favorite parts was going into the mountains and rural areas, and seeing Mt. Fuji and other beautiful landscapes!! I would highly recommend using Momiji Travel Agency to plan your next trip!
Hit fun spots and beautiful views, can’t wait to go back! Tokyo, Mt Fuji, Kyoto were just a few of the places we saw! Momiji planned it all and I will go back to them for all my Japan travel!

Juli made our family trip to Japan so special! From the first day I contacted Juli regarding our potential trip, she was incredibly helpful and optimistic about our plans. She was even able to secure tickets in advance to a couple important events we were hoping to see while in Tokyo and Osaka. There were many locations and sites on our list and we only had 1 week to cover them all. Juli was able to plan an itinerary that used our time most effectively and hit the top spots. If we had been on our own, I predict we would have gotten lost and been frustrated by the language barrier. Juli's leadership and meticulous planning reduced any potential family tension. She was confident and a great communicator. It was fun to watch her use her Japanese. Her disposition was pleasant and cheerful, even when faced with challenges like missing a train. Being close in age to our 3 young adult children, and having many of the same interests, she fit right into our family. The 5 of us followed Juli around Japan like ducklings following their mother! It was a trip of a lifetime to a land far away from home, and we will never forget it!
My husband and I, active seniors, spent 3 weeks with Juli and her support staff touring Japan in Oct. 2024. Juli included us in the planning process and accommodated our accessibility requirements. High points were: Takayama with it's fall festival, Matsumoto with it's museum of Yayoi Kusama's famous art works and Naoshima's Chichu Museum and many of Japan's lovliest gardens.
