How to Customize

After you have chosen your preferred tour, reviewed the base itinerary, and confirmed your dates, you will be eligible to fill out our Traveler Information Questionnaire. This short form ensures that your personal interests and goals for the trip are met. Our goal is to give each traveler a base from which to build their own unique tour. We will work with you to incorporate your interests into your tour itinerary and to customize the tour to your personal preferences.

Airfare and Food are not included within the package pricing.

Recommended Trip Add-ons

There is an endless list of activities for every niche interest in Japan! Consider including one of these add-ons to enhance your trip. A few of these add-ons can be decided on the spot, others require reservations far in advance. Please note that if you intend to add an experience, itinerary days will change and scheduled events might move to accommodate the new plan. Please contact your guide for pricing and if your preferred experiences will fit your trip.

Learn about the rules of sumo wrestling from retired professionals and try the famous Chanko nabe sumo meal!

Tea Ceremony & Samurai Museum

Kamakura: Day Trip

Head south towards the beach to wander among ancient historical shrines, temples, and cafes. Come hungry and leave stuffed full of delicious snacks, fish, and pastries!

Odawara Castle

Step back in time to Odawara Castle south of Yokohama on a bullet train. Wander around the castle grounds, the gardens, the samurai museum and climb to the top of the castle! The view from the top looks out over the ocean and sometimes if you're lucky you'll see Mt. Fuji.
